Are you waiting till the last minute to purchase insurance? Here is why you need insurance to be first, not last!
I’m sure you are excited about your trip and probably not laser focused on travel insurance. As you get closer to your departure date, you have an “ah-ha” moment, and you now want to purchase a policy.
But…
You’re no longer eligible for time-sensitive benefits such as:
Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver: You must purchase within 21 days of the date of your Initial Deposit/Payment for their trip and be medically able to travel at the time the policy is purchased. After meeting these requirements, pre-existing conditions will be waived.
Cancel For Any Reason: You must purchase within 21 days of the date of your Initial Deposit/Payment for their trip.
Hurricane Warnings: This benefit is only available if the storm has not been named and the policy has been in effect for at least 14 consecutive days.
Financial Insolvency or Financial Default: You must purchase within 21 days of the date of their Initial Deposit/Payment for your trip, and the policy must have been in effect for at least 14 consecutive days.
As you can see, if you wait until the last minute to purchase travel insurance, you are missing out on some of the richest benefits travel insurance offers.
Note - remember that you may purchase our plans up to the day before departure, however you would most likely not qualify for these above time-sensitive benefits.

Are you planning a trip?
While sunshine and smooth sailing are ideal, even paradise can face unexpected weather woes.
TravelSafe Insurance offers the Classic Plan, which provides peace of mind with a Hurricane Warning benefit.
Here's how the Classic Plan protects your investment:
Cancel with Confidence: If your scheduled trip's departure city or destination is under a hurricane warning issued by the NOAA Hurricane Center within 36 hours of your departure date, you can cancel your trip and be eligible for 100% reimbursement under the Classic Plan.
Early Decision, Full Reimbursement: Remember, for Hurricane Warning trip cancellation coverage to apply, you must have purchased your policy before the storm is named and cancel more than 14 days following your policy's effective date.
